Maintenance workshop during Mobility Week

Pictured is a snapshot of the Galway Cycling Campaign’s bicycle maintenance workshop, held in Eyre Square during European Mobility Week. Left of centre and mostly hidden from view is Bart, who spent the afternoon fixing bikes and showing cyclists how to do it for themselves. Despite having his foot in plaster he was obviously in his element. We also gave demos on how to fold folding bikes (see photo, right of centre) and handed out bicycle lights and road safety leaflets.
