Have you ever wanted to try an e-cargo bike? Have you ever thought of exchanging the family car for a cargo bike? As part of BikeWeek 2023, the Galway Cycling Campaign hosted a cargo-bike try out and family cycling festival at Toft Park, on Sunday, 14th May 2023, at 11am.
With representatives from GreenAer offering trials of their bikes, and other local cycling businesses and organisations, this event aimed to give attendees the opportunity to see and try these bikes first-hand. Many Galway Cycling Campaign members are parents who have made the switch to cargo bikes, and invited anyone interested on the day to chat directly with questions or concerns.
Music, face painting and a few hours of family fun! Our friends at Barista Bus was also in attendance in the park providing their tasty coffee and plenty of sweet treats.
