  • Best practice cycling instruction comes to Galway.

    Two Galway Cycling Campaign members are now qualified cycling instructors after spending the Christmas holidays attending courses in the UK. Oisin O’Nidh, the campaign’s membership secretary did a course in Manchester while campaign chair Shane Foran took a course in London. Both courses develop trainers to deliver the new UK National Standard in cycling instruction.

  • Cycle Campaign welcomes new National Group

    The Galway Cycling Campaign has welcomed the launch of a new National organisation and vision for cycling promotion. Seven cycling groups from Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Maynooth, Skerries and Waterford have formed a new representative group: “Cyclist.ie”. At the centre of the new group is an agreed vision statement on cycling promotion policies for Ireland.
