I’m new to this jazz, It’s nice to be on board.
Being an everyday cyclist in Galway ( and due to 3 punctures in 2 weeks ) I decided to send an email to the Mayor asking him to include cyclists in the Greens “Public Transport Initiative”. Now that they’re lobbying for support I figured it was good timing. I gave the usual points: There is little or no awareness of cyclists by motorists, terrible road surfaces accompanied by broken glass, narrow roads, no bike lanes (or pointless ones) etc…
According to his personal website he seems to be quite open to people mailing him about any issue. I might be a bit too optimistic expecting a reply to my “questions” but if I do I’ll post any info I get here.
Lets see how it goes…
