This is a great idea. People sometimes complain about the difficulty of finding parking in Galway, especially in the centre, but a lot of cities have been removing central parking capacity for years now.

What Galway is sorely lacking is green space. There are a few small parks and patches here and there, and some lucky trees, but compared to more forward-thinking municipalities it's a lot more grey here than green, and that's a real shame. I'm sure your temporary mini-park made passers-by think about the importance of re-imagining civic space. Hopefully next time I'll be able to visit. Can't believe I missed those biscuits!
